2004
The Spark

At the age of 9, Dr Vivek Soham's mother was in a terrible car accident. After exploring all health solutions, he witnessed his mothers pain and frustrations vanish through a chiropractic process. It was at this moment that Vivek's seed to heal people with his hands was planted. 

2010
Growth & Exploration

As a developing young man at the age of 15, Dr V balanced his education, love for golf and a deep need to understand how the human body functions from a foundational point of view. Vivek spent his time out of school honing his golf skills by listening to his own body while consuming second hand medical text books in the club house. 

2013
The Education Begins

With only two chiropractic universities in the UK, Dr V found himself enrolled at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic, in Cardiff, Wales. It was here that his first professor Dr. A.I. Heusch set the bar for the future of Dr V's practice & work ethic.

The First Published Works

Add DAlong with Dr Heusch, Vivek published his first works with a focus on the influence of eastern medicine on western practice through infrared thermography.escription Here

2017
Introduction to NUCCA

As a student of Chiropractic along with an understanding of eastern medicine handed down through generations in the Soham family, Dr V followed a gut feeling that human alignment could be achieved through the principal of less is more. It was at this moment his exploration lead to the world of NUCCA.

2019
The accreditation is achieved

After 2 years focused on NUCCA studies, Vivek graduated top of his NUCCA class earning his title of Dr Vivek Soham. With an award for clinical excellence during his residency, Dr V set out to start his own practice.

2020
The First Office Opens

A bold move in a rather questionable time, Dr V had no choice but to open his new practice just after the Covid 19 Pandemic. What was then, Nimbus Brain & Spine began. In a challenging time, Dr V grew his practice from scratch, starting with 0 clients to an incredible 600 clients over the course of 3 years.

2022
Dr V's First Board Election

After growing his impressive client list and proof of his NUCCA ability, Dr V was elected to the Upper Cervical Research Foundation board of directors. In quick succession was elected to be the youngest serving Vice President in the history of UCRF.

2023
Origin Modern Health || Wellness is Born

In true Dr V fashion, always growing and seeking excellence amongst the hurdles of life, his practice evolved after his fathers passing and his perspective shifted. Wanting to create a better understanding of his practice and access to a vital service that impacts peoples quality of life, his decision to create Origin was realized.

2024
Origin Expands Its Reach

We expanded our presence in Southern California by opening a new location in Carlsbad, California, bringing the practice’s NUCCA-focused chiropractic and holistic nervous system care to the North County community.
